About us

The founding members of Psych Fusion realized the frustration and difficulties many researchers feel when trying to computerize their experiments. The existing options, such as learning complicated programming languages or platforms, or using programmers from a non psychology background are not always successful.

Our mission is to relieve researchers' frustration by providing a complete service - from initial consultation to delivery of the experiment as an easy-to-use software program.

We are different to other services as we employ both experienced programmers and professional psychologists. This means we fully understand your requirements before the programming even begins. We don't program for any other discipline and consequently all our offerings are specifically designed to meet the challenges of psychology research projects.

The result is that we meet our customers' needs every time.

The founding members of Psych Fusion come from Psychology, Technology and Business disciplines.

Founding Members

Dr Robert Whelan (BA in Applied Psychology, PhD in Experimental Psychology)

Dr. Whelan has significant experience with a wide range of experimental paradigms. His most recent appointment was as Research Fellow at University College Dublin, working for the Departments of Psychiatry, Neurology, and Electronic Engineering. To date, Dr Whelan has been published in numerous prestigious international journals. In addition he is a regular presenter at International Conferences.

Colin Lawlor, BBS

Mr Lawlor's background is in managing international software projects for high profile multinationals, most recently Intel Corporation.  He is also a member of the Project Management Institute.  His extensive professional experience ensures that all our clients' engagements are managed to the highest possible standard.

Helen Treacy PGDip NBD

Ms Treacy's background is in new product development and customer relationship management. She has been involved in many high profile product start ups, one of which was recently recognised for innovation by the Irish Government. Her experience in understanding customers' needs and ensuring the right product is delivered to meet those needs, guarantees you the best possible customer service available.
